Art of Reading
Create and connect with popular children’s stories by creating themed artworks. Join us as we express ourselves and make meaning from the stories we read using mixed materials.
Art of Reading will visit a different Georges River Libraries branch every week:

Dungeons & Dragons for High Schoolers
Fight monsters, solve riddles, save the world, and make new friends in Georges River Libraries’ Dungeons and Dragons campaign for high schoolers. Whether you’ve never played before, or you’re a seasoned adventurer, everyone is welcome at our D&D table.

High School Self Care Space
Feeling the Monday afternoon slump, and can’t quite get your head around your homework? Take a break in the High School Self Care Space! Grab a snack, play a game, do a craft, chat with friends, or just sit and quietly dissociate for a while before you get back into your study.
Stay for as much or as little time as you want – the Self Care Space is a drop-in, obligation free zone, with no bookings required!

High School Tutor Access
Calling all Year 7-12 students! Access free homework and study help from OpenWisdom subject experts at Hurstville Library. Drop in for personalised assistance across subjects like English, Maths and Science (Biology, Physics and Chemistry). Bring your questions and get the support you need to succeed.

Lego Club
From bridges to elevators, robots to drones, LEGO Club is a must for all aspiring LEGO masters. Learn STEM skills, take part in epic engineering design challenges, make new friends, and have lots of fun.

Music House! Music For Babies and Toddlers
Join with Tito as he explores the many ways that families can make connections through shared musical experiences. Families with children 8 months to 5 years will learn how to engage and interact with their children musically, helping to create a Music House!

STEM Afterschool
Join us for another exciting series of STEM Afterschool hands-on discovery activities, presented by the team at Children’s Discovery. Each week we will be covering a new theme with a number of investigations and constructions – that you get to take home.

Ukulele For Kids
Come along to our brand-new ukulele classes, just for kids! This free music program is designed for children ages 8-12 who are curious about learning a musical instrument! Run by our resident musical guru Tito, this class will help your child develop basic musical skills and build their confidence.

Intergenerational Crafting - Work In Progress Wednesdays
Whether you’re a knitter, sewer, painter, or just a colourer in, you and your current work in progress are welcome to join us for a cuppa and a chat with crafters of all ages and experience levels.
