What does that mean?
It’s all in the name, this collection has a quick loan period of 10 days and cannot be renewed.
As a high demand title, Quick Reads cannot be reserved, put aside, or transferred to another library for pick up.
We know some of you are speed readers, so to keep the collection flowing, customers can borrow up to 5 Quick Reads at a time.
When will they be available?
The Quick Reads collection will be launched on Monday 30 September at all Georges River Libraries.
How will I know it’s a Quick Reads title?
All Quick Reads will have a teal sticker on the front cover that looks like this:

If you have any further questions, please contact us at library@georgesriver.nsw.gov.au
| Do I have to return the Quick Read to the same library I borrowed it from? | Not at all. Like all Georges River Libraries’ items, you can return them at any one of our five locations. |
|---|---|
| Are these the only copies of these titles? | No, Quick Reads are in addition to our regular collections. All the titles in the Quick Read collection can be found in our regular fiction and non-fiction collections which can be reserved and borrowed as a regular 21-day loan. |
| What happens if I return a Quick Read late? | The item will be considered overdue and you will receive a notification to return the item. If a Quick Reads title remains overdue for more than 3 days it will be considered lost and charges applied to your account. You will not be able to borrow any further items until the item is returned or the charges paid. |
| Can I still borrow a Quick Read if I have a reserve on the same title? | Yes you can. Your reserve will remain on the regular item and can be cancelled by logging into your account online or speaking to a library staff member. |
