National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, family day cares, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country. Join us for a week of fun as we celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 with readings, live streamings, goal scoring and crowd roaring!

Rhyme Time for Babies and Toddlers | South Hurstville Library | 10.30am-11am

Children aged 0-3 and their carers are invited to join our Rhyme Time for Babies and Toddlers session for songs, rhymes, and a reading of Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller. Mandarin Rhyme Time | Hurstville Library | 10.30am-11am

Children aged 0-3 and their carers are invited to join our Mandarin Rhyme Time session for songs, rhymes, and a reading of Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller in Mandarin.
