LIBRARY ADULT PROGRAMS - GET SOCIAL

Georges River Libraries strive to create lifelong learning by informing, inspiring and engaging the community through a range of programs, activities and events.

Board Game Night

(This program runs from February to December)

Connect with fellow tabletop board gamers in a relaxed ‘play for fun’ environment.

  • When: Second Wednesday of each month, 5pm-7:30pm.
  • Where: Clive James Library, Kogarah

    • Bookings are essential. Book here.

Tabletop Roleplaying Club (for adults)

(This program runs from February to December during school terms)

Set forth on adventure at our Tabletop Roleplaying Game Club and play Dungeons & Dragons.

  • When: Every Tuesday during school terms, 5pm-7:30pm.
  • Where: Clive James Library, Kogarah

    • Bookings are essential. Book here.

These programs run from February to November and no bookings required.

Kogarah Italian Friendship Group

 

(This program runs from February to November)

A community group for intermediate to advanced Italian speakers.

  • When: Every Saturday, 10.00pm-12:00pm

    • Where: Clive James Library, Kogarah

South Hurstville Recipe Club

 

(This program runs from February to November)

Join other foodies, swap recipes and taste the results.

  • When: Fourth Wednesday of the month, 2.15pm – 3.45pm

    • Where: South Hurstville Library

Kogarah Knitting Group

(This program runs from February to December)

 

All skill levels, general interest and knitting for charity.

  • When: Second Monday of the month, 10.00am-12pm and Last Friday of the month, 12.00pm-2.00pm

    • Where: Clive James Library, Kogarah

Oatley Knitting Group

(This program runs from February to December)

 

All skill levels, general interest and knitting for charity.

  • When: First Wednesday of the month, 10.00am-12.00pm

    • Where: Oatley Library

Wrap with Love Knitters

(This program runs from February to December)

 

Make knitted squares to be sewn into blankets for the Wrap with Love Charity.

  • When: First and second Thursday of the month, 1.00pm-3.00pm

    • Where: Penshurst Library

Crafting Time

(This program runs from January to December)

 

A drop-in club for those who like to craft and create. Bring along your personal projects and connect with others while you get crafty. All crafters welcome!

  • When: Second, fourth and fifth Saturday of the month, 10.00am-4.00pm

    • Where: Clive James Library, Kogarah
